I am often skeptical about these websites. But, I would like to thank you for your wonderful art and talent. I have been a George Benson fan since I was knee high something about the guitar. the about 12 years ago my cousin and I came across this artist whose music i fell head head over heels for - Norman Brown. I have had the pleasure of seeing you a few times in concert - you're bad to the bone. Looking forward to future SoCal performances. warmspirit7965@aol.com

Hi Norman...

This is the center, front blondie from the 2008 AllStar Cruise (just ask your daughter about the girl who gave her the chapstick so she could sing without dry lips, she might remember me)...what a gorgeous girl inside and out she is!!! I'm the one from the cruise that was always writing in the front row at all concerts and jam sessions...I actually am almost finished writing a huge recap of the entire cruise. Thought you might enjoy this little snippit from the first land concert...this is the little paragraph I did about your first performance. Thank you so much for a lovely time. I adore your heartfelt music and appreciate the opportunity to express my gratitude through these words. If you are interested in the entire recap just let me know how to e-mail it directly to you and I will be happy to provide it. I really had a blast because of you.

jazzin' it up,

Grammy-award winning guitarist Norman Brown started things out with 'Let's Take a Ride' and a new tune from his After the Storm CD. We then drifted through the gold record, Soul-Train award winning 'Living For The Love Of You'. The music of Mr. Norman brown is some powerful stuff, food for the soul if you will. Song-after-song he courted us to feel the grove. This guy really knows how to break it all down. The audience-involved scatting was a complete blast. Everyone was into it! Brown caught the love and threw it right back in style. Up next 'Night Drive' from the West Coast CD. Brown's music took me on the most beautiful night drive of my own. Norman's smile is contagious, as he was tearing it up on a Latin jazz number called 'Dancing in the House'. Brown proved himself to be one bad boy tonight! He invited Wes Montgomery, George Benson and we were all lost in a magically-unique masquerade created by Norman. 'That's the Way Love Goes' rounded it all out.

Hello Norman,

I love jazz music and was navigating at Smoothjazz.com and your name, among others, appeared on the screen because of the 1rst Annual SmoothJazz Festival. I went to your web page to know a little bit more about your music and definately I can say that it is more than fantastic.

As I said before, I love jazz music sepecialy he one played with sax but when I heard some of you tracks I realized that it is so so incredible. You play the guitar in an very incredible way. Your guitar is singing not playing music.

CONGRATULATIONS AND THE BEST OF THE BEST......

Hopefully I can be at the festival and have the opportunity to hear your music in live.

Best regards,

Sincerely,

Miguel Ángel Álvarez Flores

OK.....it is to long so it is best MAAF or Miguel or Migue or (believe it or not) Mikey...

PD. Sorry for my English....sometimes it is not as good as I want.

what a phenomenal musician you are- I first saw you on Good Day Atlanta one day, and then bought tickets to a concert in Mableton, GA at the Mable house ampitheatre. I'm a white guy in my mid 30s with kids, not exactly what you would think for a jazz genre fan, but was turned on to it by hearing your guitar playing. With the exception of maybe the Eagles in concert, you are my favorite musician, and in my book the finest guitarist I have ever heard, in any genre of music period. I wish jazz got more respect because it truly takes a talented person to play these instruments, and it's real stuff, not hyped up mixed and engineered studio junk that sounds totally different when live in concert. Your guitar sounds live the same way it does on the cd, and that's a good thing. I wish you continued success and hope to see you in Atl. again soon.

Hello Stormin Norman

I just wanted to say hello and I'm so glad to see how blessed you are. I always knew you would make to the top of your game. I love your music and always have. I haven't been able to see you in over 20years and everytime you come home and do a concert I miss your show because I'm doing an event or something. I called your sister when you came in February but we just never got to talk long. I've kept up with your career because I'm still your little sis:-). I guess you can say I like one of your first fans since I had to listen to you play all the time when we were younger. May God keep blessing you and yours. I hope to get to see you next time or soon.

Love

Hey Norman, Sharon from Gwynn Oak, MD., what's up? I truly love your "Guitarism" especially on the "Celebration" CD, all others too--but that's my absolute favorite. You play with such style and grace that makes it soothing to my soul. Keep playing all that great music, and hopefully, you will come to my area when the time is right.

Happy Listener,

Sharon of Gwynn Oak, MD.

I enjoy your style of play - thanks for the opportunity you have given to my childhood friend Chante' to perform along side you, PT and AB. While at Yoshi's you mention your keyboard player (ln: Johnson?) was coming out with her CD. I just need to know her name and the release date...would like to get it on my pod. thanks...RG

Hello Norman,

Thank you for your performance at the Oceanside Pier. It was truly beautiful. Thank you for having the other artists as well. As a native San Diegan I truly enjoyed listening to Chante and I thought I was dreaming while awake listening to Paul Taylor. Simply beautiful.
I am looking to see where you will be performing in the near future, and looking forward to listening to you play much longer. Hopefully as soon as my book is published, I'll be able to afford your services at one of my book signings... simply beautiful.. May God continue to bless you and your beautiful gift of music.. agabby510@yahoo.com
